September Student Spotlight – Lexie B!

Ladies and Gentlemen (drumroll please..) Please join me in honoring Ms. Alexandria (Lexie) Baptiste!
She has been dancing with us for five years and is a Revolve Company Member. When in Revolve the dancers are required to take another form of dance other than their “dance major” in order to expand their dance capabilities. Lexie’s dance major ” is Hip Hop and she says her favorite teacher is Mr. Jacques…
and when we asked Mr. Jacques about her he said “Great attitude, always prepared, strong dancer, willing and able to assist other dancers in the class, great work ethic.” She is also taking Musical Theater this year as well and doing amazing in that class too!! She is honing her acting and stylizing her dance to a whole new genre! When we asked her what else she liked to do when she was not here, she said “DANCE! All the time, everywhere…at home…at school”…and she also likes to sing, read and crochet. She aspires to be a pediatrician and we know that whatever she sets her mind to she will be FABULOUS at! Her advice to others who may want to start dancing is… ” Don’t be afraid to try it! Give it all you have and just don’ be afraid” And that is just what she does! Congrats Lexie!
