
Donna is the former Associate Artistic Director of Carol Walker Dance Academy, Inc. and Co-Artistic Director and Founder of Dancers Company One Performing Arts Company for 16 years. Donna began her dance training at age 3. Her studies included ballet, pointe,
jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern and musical theatre with such recognized artists as Gary Harrison, Gus Giordano, Luigi, Kenneth Green, Mia Michaels, Mike Minery, Gregg Russell, Gwen Verdon and Joel Gray to name a few. She was a member of Gary Harrison Dance Company in Atlanta and her performances included the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Georgia Olympic Games. For over 35 years, Donna has taught dance to ages 3 thru adults including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary/modern, and musical theatre. She has taught at major dance conventions and master classes at various venues including summer camps and intensive workshops. She has judged various dance competitions both regional and national including Dance Masters Of America where she is a member of Chapter #33 GA,, TN and AL. She has also judged beauty pageants, talent presentations and dance company auditions. She was affiliated with The Governor’s Honors Program’s Dance Department for several years as well as the New London Theatre. For several years, she choreographed for the Brookwood High School’s Dance Department. Her TV credits include a Longhorn Steakhouse Commercial and a My Fox 5 Atlanta’s Wednesday’s Child. Donna is the recipient of many awards at regional and national competitions for her outstanding, individual and innovative choreography. Many of her students have been awarded prestigious titles and have reigned as Petite, Teen, Mr Teen, Mr Dance and Miss Dance Masters Of America.
