
Brianna Mack, an Atlanta native, graduated summa cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Recognized for her academic excellence, she received numerous scholarships and awards including the Outstanding Senior Award from the Department of Dance and she represented the entirety of KSU as a University System of Georgia Outstanding Scholar. For her senior capstone project, Brianna directed and performed in her own short film, which premiered at the KSU Student Dance Concert in April 2023. This film has also been selected for the Hamilton Arts Film Festival and the Atlanta Shortfest in 2024.
Brianna has danced professionally with various organizations, including Gwinnett Ballet Theatre, Ballethnic Dance Company, and in the Atlantic Station Christmas Parade. She began her training with Gwinnett Ballet Theatre and attended multiple summer intensives, including Dance Theatre of Harlem, Southeastern School of Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theatre. During the 2018-2019 season, she was invited to join Texas Ballet Theatre’s professional division.
Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work, Brianna continues to blend her passions for dance, education, and social justice. She is delighted to continue her journey at GSD as both the administrative lead and an instructor.
